If you are receiving MT 1006 or MT 1007 error message check to make sure you have the latest version of XCode installed on your MAC and that the version of IOS matches what is installed on your PC.
Open XCode -> Window -> Devices and Simulators
Is your device displayed? If not connect your device to your MAC via cable and it should get recognized.
Does your device show a warning about missing device support? There are a few things you can do but the easiest IMHO is to download the latest version of XCode. Extract it and then right click on the XCode.app and choose Show Packages. Navigate to /Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport and copy the folder for the version you are missing.
In Finder navigate to the following and paste the folder you just copied /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport
Now right click on your device in the XCode Devices and Simulators window and choose Unpair. Unplug your device and then plug it back in. Choose Yes to Trust your computer and then wait until it completes the debug setup.
Note: This took about 10 min on my MAC.
You can find a complete list of MT error codes provided by Xamarin.
